Ingredients
- 200 grams tofu,firm.
- 1 small onion,finely chopped.
- 1 small bell pepper,finely chopped.
- 1 small tomato,finely chopped.
- 2-3 cloves of garlic,minced.
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder.
- 1/2 tsp paprika or red chili powder
- Salt to taste.
- Pepper to tatse.
- Fresh coriander leaves.
- Cooking oil.
Instructions
- Press the tofu to remove excess moisture.crumble the tofu using your hands or a fork.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.Add chopped onions and saute until they become translucent.
- Add minced garlic and saute for a minute until fragrant.
- Add Chopped bell peppers and tomatoes.Cook for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables soften.
- Add crumbled tofu to the pan. Mix well with the vegetables.
- Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, salt and pepper.Mix it well to coat the tofu and vegetables with spices.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes,Stirring occasionally,until the tofu is heated through and well combined with the spices.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
- Serve hot tofu scramble as a delicious and protein rich breakfast or brunch option.
